I was naive to think the knee injury and sitting a year to absorb an NFL environment would be good for him. I hated the pick but talked myself into thinking maybe he’d be mid and they move on after his rookie deal. He’s got a long way to go for that. I don’t even have faith he can handoff safely.

The only guy I can remember being worse was Clausen on that awful Panthers team before Cam. He would’ve needed to be a lot better just to suck. JJ makes him look like Joe Montana.
Oh, and Jamarcus Russell. But man. That’s all-time bad.

Agree with this. I’m not a scout but if a guy isn’t an NFL prospect, no amount of teaching will make him one.

Remember that time Josh Dobbs showed up like the day of a game and beat an NFL team with KOC? This guy’s been here 18 months and looks like it’s the first time he’s even seen football.
Five games isn’t enough to know a guy’s ceiling but it’s enough to see if he has the goods and he doesn’t.
