As I was growing up, I was often told that it wasn't the people today who were responsible for slavery, Jim Crow, and so many other terrible discriminatory practices. That may have been true then, but it's not true now.

Children shouldn't be exposed to inappropriate content. However, there's a difference between censoring everyone and preventing kids from seeing inappropriate content. Parents should fulfill that responsibility by monitoring what their kids are watching and blocking what they shouldn't see.

And he'll destroy most of his political capital along with the value of the, so called "working-class" in the process. If the Republican majorities allow him to do the things that he proposes just to keep his campaign promises when they know better... They will be held accountable.

And that rage blinds them to the truth that Trump was and is a bad leader who made mistakes in a time of crisis. And those mistakes compounded and were costly to our nation. Anger can't change that fact, but perspective can bring clarity, which can improve plans and outcomes.

It's interesting how his observation is becoming true. It's the vanity of American Exceptionalism that's enabling this to happen, though. Arrogance is a fault by which terrible things can occur. I hope that, as a nation, we figure this out before it's too late.
