honestly there are many reasons for garlic to be used, I think I remember it being used as a repellent for some actual bugs? anyway I never liked garlic as a vampire repellent I think it's silly, also the cross so 🤷‍♀️

it's more fun for me personally if I know the why, makes it a lot more believable and that myth about the seeds was hilarious so I hoped to understand it. it's ok that u don't know I'll probably think about it by myself a lot and look it up a little

garlic scent is very intense it's understandable why someone with heightened senses would hate it. sunlight bc vampires are scary, damned creatures. there's usually some sort of logical connection is what I'm saying, even if it's distant , I just thought maybe you'd know why OCD
