It's insane that someone can steal other designer's content to build up a huge audience which then enables them to take paid speaking gigs away from the same people they stole from.
That slot could have gone to Ruby Pryor, Amy Santee, or any UXR who creates good, original content. WTF Dovetail?

Whenever I complained about anything as a kid, parents would talk about the great famine of 1960 where many resorted to cannibalism.
Just came across an article about China's recent declining birth rate and saw this historical chart. Turns out 1960 was really bad, but right now is definitely worse!

People are astutely picking out the problems that are inherent in sponsored UX conferences that require brand name speakers to draw a crowd. People want a current big name corpo speaker to open up a vein and air that dirty laundry in return for a $500 ticket.
