Japan released new banknotes on July 1, 2024, but Nishitetsu buses in Fukuoka still don’t accept them! 🚍💴 While some buses are being updated, it could take until March 2026 for all buses to handle the new notes.

• I micro ‘bow’ naturally at every car that stops for me to pass.
• I make an ‘eehh’ sound when finding something interesting.
• I’m more willing to stop and chat with strangers.
It hasn’t been easy, but I love the challenge!
