made a deep run at today's Store Treasure Cup and finished 6th at our 32 cap event playing Vegapunk! dodged my worst matchups, lost one game to a nasty trigger, and then won the next game on an even nastier trigger. now that I've T8ed two Treasure Cups, I think the goal is to win the next one

it was fine. they ended up not having the prizing they advertised but it was still a good time, everyone was super cool and no one was playing sweaty meta decks. ended up losing to rosi because I forgot how 2c Sugar works

small crowd this week, makes sense since prereleases are starting soon and new set comes out next Friday. still a strong showing with a new deck, I think it's a ton of fun to play and want to keep it in my back pocket for the foreseeable future

decent showing at locals this week! Kuzan feels good into a variety of decks, and I felt like I could've won R1 if I played it differently. rounds 2 & 3 were both against first time players so we treated them more like teaching games. excited to hopefully try out something new next week!

Locals reports are gonna look a little different now thanks to davyback.gg ❤️ with the store championship season over, I decided to try out a new deck I'd been wondering about, and went undefeated! kuzan felt really good, if you can play it slow the first few turns, your endgame is tough to beat

and that's a wrap on the store championship! needed top 4 for an invite to nationals and got 6th, but a top 8 finish at an event this size with a leader most people would've assumed I had no chance with felt really good. surpassed my expectations and I'm hungry for the next one!
