This case is another example of outside interests trying to control Colorado students and families. The case was argued by an attorney trained by the Alliance Defending Freedom, a group designated as an anti-LGBTQ+ hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

They need signatures from Coloradans to get these policies on our 2026 ballots, but we don't need them. If you are asked to sign a petition for Initiative #109 or Initiative #110, DON'T SIGN.

These measures directly target trans youth and their families. They don’t represent Colorado values. Don’t be fooled by misleading titles – if you see these petitions, do not sign. #handsoffcolorado
