Digital media inherently has some great advantages, it just takes some imagination and a willingness to improve.

I really hope this sets a precedent that others in the industry follow. Imagine being able to share a Steam game with your friends or trade the latest PS titles virtually.

Even with the restriction of having to share within a family plan, a ‘digital cartridge’ is such a great idea! The ability to share a digital purchase has a lot of utility and it’s consumer friendly. I also like the auto return feature (adds peace of mind).

I am not a fan of digital ‘ownership’ and not having control. What really bothers me is how many unnecessary ‘restrictions’ plague digital media. For example not being able to barrow a digital book from my library bc some else ‘checked it out’.

such a big bummer. The gold points were such a nice reward system and made a huge difference. I wonder if they are doing this because buying games digitally is more the norm now

the arcade stick is great for that, it’s so comfortable and just fun to use. Hope you’re able to rest your hand.

If you’re looking for a game that plays great with the arcade stick I’d recommend Whisker Squadron: Survivor. IMO playing with the stick enhances the experience and makes it so fun!
