Lovely! I had a 2001 Dakar that took a ton of abuse getting me from Ohio to Mexico and back over the span of a year or so. It survived many drops, and even getting sideswiped in downtown Guadalajara.

Lost all front brake pressure on the R1200C, finally got around to getting new brake lines for it.

Discovered the grossest brake fluid I’ve ever seen. This could very well be the original brake fluid!

Vacationed near Charleston, SC last week so I took a trip to Fort Sumter. Decided to wear my John Brown shirt to see if I could rile the natives, heh. Got 2 very different reactions:

1. Park ranger working at Sumter liked my shirt & told me he'd worked at Harper's Ferry, asked if I'd been (I have).

When we fostered recently the cats immediately claimed the huge dog bed, but the joke was on them, the dog was happy in the cat bed.
