The Peatlands of Elan Valley are slowly being restored, trialling wool bunds, Molinia 'dams' and these poolings, where smaller pockets are created allowing vegetation to return to the previously exposed peat. Yesterday we transplanted Mosses. These tiny acts of restoration make my heart sing 💛
