Strange moment in the Fuentes interview.

Tucker: "It's code for I don't really believe what I'm saying. I have a PhD in this subject, so I know."

Did Tucker really just say he has a PhD in saying things you don't believe?

The man might've accidentally told the truth for once.

Malaysia works out a peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia.

They then let Trump fly in so he can take credit and do a YMCA dance.

You couldn't script a story funnier than this man actually being president. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

If you ever get mad at MAGA, remember this video.

Realize that you’re only mad because you’re expecting them to behave like adults.

You don’t get mad at children, or people with the mental capabilities of children.

You just try to stop them from doing damage.

Why the trans movement has been most harmed by the removal of censorship on Twitter.

It was the one place where people were more afraid of censors than their friends. The censorship was more extreme than the social costs of speaking out, which is rare. www.richardhanania.com/p/why-gender...

Steven Pinker on bringing an evolutionary perspective to humor. He discusses how leaders engage in self-deprecating humor to soften hierarchical relationships. Some might argue that because Trump is thin skinned, he has "the wrong temperament to be president." www.richardhanania.com/p/humor-the-...

Bryan Caplan on the UAE: "If you go there with any kind of notion that the Arabs cannot build a civilization...In many ways this is the best country in the world."

Amazing what free markets, immigration, and zero tolerance for crime can do.

Scholarship on economic misinformation is rare compared to other kinds of misinformation. This is a strange state of affairs given how rampant it is, and how important economics is to political decision making. www.richardhanania.com/p/economists...

Are Blue States or Red States better at preventing crime? Neither.

Here is percentage black plotted against murder rate, with states colored blue and red. Race is the overwhelming factor here, and there's no evidence partisanship has any role. www.richardhanania.com/p/beyond-the...

The argument that people in public life should choose their words carefully is fine on its own terms.

But it’s a sick joke when it comes from a movement that supports Donald Trump. www.richardhanania.com/p/the-left-d...

Michael Tracey: People are shocked to find out that Bannon has "15 or 16 hours of priceless one-on-one TV style interview footage with Epstein that he's been concealing since 2019."

Subpoenaing Bannon seems like something Democrats should talk about. www.richardhanania.com/p/the-mental...

Steve Bannon shows how slimy MAGA influencers are.

1) Do PR work for Epstein when he’s alive, conduct hours of interviews that you hide

2) Profit off Epstein conspiracy theories and by saying elites are hiding something

Hard to image a worse actor. www.richardhanania.com/p/the-beauti...

Leavitt says Trump won’t recommend a special prosecutor for Epstein.

Note she has a direct answer. Usually when asked a new question she’ll give some vague answer like the president will make the decision later.

This is becoming unsustainable.

Is this real? Rubio seems to have trained himself to laugh at every Trump joke, then stops when he realizes he’s not looking. It’s like he hasn’t internalized the Trump worship. It seems he consciously forces himself to laugh each time. I’ve rarely seen a man so clearly broken.
