Ugh, do I have to?
Not technically retired; lover of all music, podcasts (yes podcasts! I’m old, ok?), and actual books (or maybe the smell of books is more accurate).

Yeah I could do that but I wonder why US networks don’t create shows like that?
The only one I remember was on NBC in 2018ish called “Making It” with hosts Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. I want more of these shows!

I would totally watch that! I was just wondering why the US doesn’t have all the tv craft shows and competitions that Britain has. I get sucked in every time I channel surf! Maybe I’m missing it somewhere? 🧶

Also I do remember seeing at least one of her videos on MTV, which at the time, is what drove a large portion of the popularity in music.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. She was well known in the “alternative” scene that mostly listened to college radio.
All of that alternative music we used to listen to is now in movies and used for background music in tv commercials.
