taking over, wholesale, the selection processes for next year's local govt elections & denying members a say in who their candidates will be. The lack of democracy in the Party is what stops people like Mamdani breaking through.

A whole article about how [Labour] politicians have to tow the line to get on & how this stymies radical talent. Yet not one word about how the right wing increased the % of MPs needed to even get on the ballot paper & give the members a real choice. Nothing about how the NEC are currently 1/2

A good week for Labour then, no seats lost.

But they were lucky. They were spotted and escorted out of the stadium before the game started.

Thought for a moment there you were talking about #Saintsfc. Then I saw the hashtag, relief flooded over me.

Surprised it's not being repurposed for HS2 to use as a bat tunnel.

Mamdani beat both the Democrat establishment & Trump. Over 50% of New Yorkers voted FOR his progressive policies. There is hope for America if his lead is followed.

Mamdani beat the joint efforts of the Democrat establishment & Trump. Sure feels like a victory to me.

New managers play "...the same putrid crap players..." because Sports Republic won't spend the money for proven players, capable of playing at this level.

Great idea, but what is the capital cost? Who is paying it? & How long is it before the installations break even?

Perhaps I was just asking the questions so that you could let other readers know the full outcome. But you draw your own conclusions, assume the worst & piss off someone who was trying to be supportive. End of conversation.

Bit of an unnecessary response, mine was a genuine question as to how fairly the boss dealt with the malicious complaint. If you didn't see it that way fair enough, but rudeness is not required.

What happened to the person who told the lie? If a fellow employee, have they been disciplined? If a customer, have they been banned? If the boss has really got your back action should be taken to protect you from future malicious complaints.

Why is the police officer the only one not wearing a mask? What have the ICE guys hiding from?

Interestingly your story says nothing about the strange turnout figure. Just why are the party trying to obfuscate the number of members who actually pay the membership fee?

Yes, but I stay pushing for PR. It's an uphill battle with the current leadership, but if it's not adopted now (& only Labour can vote it through) then we face a future of a totalitarian government elected on a minority vote.
