I should also warn you Saga is by far the most difficult of the series. Borderline unfair at times.

Gears isn't hard. One boss gave me trouble and that's it. If anything I'd highly recommend it if you're a fan of Blade 3. The creators wanted to remake Gears so bad Blade 3 became borderline plagiarism. And I adore them both.
