Higher-ups signing contracts because "everyone does AI now" and now they need to ensure that you use it, if you like it or not. Does it improve efficiency or help in any other way? Hwo knows, but hey, we have AI!

Getting really tired of seeing the AI buzzword on literally everything. AI for the sake of AI is definitely not the way to go.

As long as you are having fun, why not (as hobby). Its especially beneficial if you develop your systems in a modular fashion. When starting a new project, I can save many hours by just throwing in a pre-built system. At some point you have quite a collection. Of course not all projects overlap 100%

Its very dependent on the use-case. Unreal offers plenty of functionalities out of the box for e.g. a single player shooter. Will it have technical depth? Unlikely, but often times the simplest ideas work best - thinking back to huge successes like Flappy Bird or Doodle Jump

I am regularly listening to soundtracks of games that I have not played for over a decade and still get goosebumps from them. It has a huge impact

It is really the same thing, once you know one of them you'll feel right at home. Of course Godot has its own quirks but its a great platform to learn - or Jupyter its super convenient for learning Python

Adding Multiplayer to your game basically requires you to rework your complete logic.
