how was the aggregate of it?

Sengun was not "dreadful" on offense this series. His field goal percentage was, but there are other aspects to offense besides fg%.

Was it actually productive this year? I'd be curious the stats on it, because, from what I remember watching the games, it didn't do particularly well.

Yeah, credit to the Warriors, they did a good job preventing the ball from being inbounded to Sengun directly, so Dillon had to give it to Fred, who then gave it to Sengun. The original plan was to inbound to Sengun and then screen Draymond with Fred, but Warriors prevented them from doing so.

How should he have not? He escalated things with Dillon Brooks. Curry got a tech for taunting, Dillon got a tech for escalating by going after the ball, Draymond got a tech for escalting by grabbing Dillon Brooks.

Fantastic piece. It reads like it was written by the ghost of peak (and peaking) Bill Walton, and I mean that as the highest of compliments.

The rise of fascism in the U.S. will be seen by history as in no small part due to you and the DNCs hubris, corruption, and prioritizing your own personal power over fighting for the interests of the working class.

I think it is a more interesting question than other Rockets fans will admit. I doubt it'd be in season, as even off the bench, Jabari gives great size and shooting that helps this year. But in the offseason, if they can't get him to extend for a reasonable amount, I can definitely see a trade.

Gotta just get rid of the draft. Let rookies enter as free agents, and instead give each team a special rookie cap exception based on worst record. Then teams can use that, other exceptions, or cap space to sign rookies just like other free agents.

No more draft, no more tanking.

Funnily enough, Sengun and Edey are the same age.

um...are we....are we contenders?
January 16, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Yes, if he keeps it up, then that will mean he is no longer inconsistent, correct
January 14, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Hey may end up going back to the RGV tbh. Vipers don't play for a week, so he may just be coming back so he can be with the team and coaches here while the Vipers aren't playing anyway.

I feel like you think I want Jalen to start still, and just to clarify, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT THAT.

To be clear, I am agreeing with you, haha

Honestly, that's my thought too. It is a clear switch that should be made now imo, but if I were to guess why they aren't making it yet, it includes phrases like "trade value", "sunk cost", and "due diligence"
December 2, 2024 at 7:01 PM
That's a fantastic question, and it really seems like the answer is currently next year, which is kinda wild, because dude is too good for that.

He should be starting over Jalen now imo

Wait, he wasn't Bulgarian, was he? Because, if he was, then technically you may now be married to him in the eyes of the Bulgarian gods.

Please shut up forever

Oh, if Ziaire would have grabbed a chair and hit Draymond with it while he stood at the FT line, I would have seen it as 100% justified and reasonable
November 26, 2024 at 6:09 AM
Great call, that 4th quarter was amazing to watch (esp as a Rockets fan who likes seeing Warriors Ls). Nets were hitting such tough shots, Ziaire Williams had to be convined not to fight Draymond, Curry did Curry things but to no availe, and the Nets played with top tier motor.

Would you be willing to bet money on him being 37% from 3 at the end of the year? Because I'd bet against that, and think it would be very very easy money.

There's absolutely no reason to think he will be at 37% based on his past performance or what he's done this year.
