This framing reeks of ignorance. Libertarian policies, distinct from populist electoral politics, is what is wrecking economies. Let’s not conflate all populism— because there are left wing breeds that espouse policy agendas antagonistic to their libertarian counterparts—with economic turmoil.

I’m definitely interested in seeing some examples of this (not saying you’re wrong). I was lucky enough to attend their conference this past weekend, and I’ve never been in a room with that many committed socialists before. It was quite refreshing, and liberalism was pretty consistently denounced.

And this is honest media. Objectivity is a myth that is used to justify insidious narratives that aren’t in the pursuit of a more just world. Honest media outlets are up front about the ideologies that motivate their editorial decision making.

This is where the heart of the left is, everything else is just to scared to commit to the only project that will get us out of this sh*t hole we are currently in the depths of, all because the neoliberal project has done everything possible to demonize us

Jacobin, The Nation, The Intercept, Current Affairs and for podcasts I suggest the Majority Report and and any podcasts from the publications just mentioned. These aren’t just left leaning outlets, but ones that are either mostly or completely committed to the socialist project.
