Experience tells me that all these stories and comments coming out about Blue Labour and Starmer *maybe, possibly, sort-of, sometime* softening their Brexit red lines has more to do with them wanting to fool Remainers into not abandoning them at the local elections than in any change of policy.

@simoncalder.bsky.social Do you know what is going on with TUI? Stopping flights next year from Birmingham to Santorini. Now heard stopping all flights from Stansted to Gran Canaria for 2026. Are they in trouble?

Totally agree with you!
I feel I should duck before saying this, a bit like taking cover in the trenches before lobbing a grenade over. The 2 child benefits cap and criticism of it for putting larger families into poverty.
Perhaps don't have more than 2 children of you cant afford it?
*Bob ducks* 😬

A full investigation/public enquiry is needed.
In case you missed it ...
Here's a damning verdict from the Intelligence & Security Committee regarding Boris Johnson's half-baked report into Russian interference in the Brexit ref. Basically, they didn't even bother looking for any! Surely now it's time for a public enquiry into Putin's Brexit!

I thought that too. Normally cannot stand him. I won’t watch Who wants to be a millionaire with him at the helm.

So Spain is considering banning non EU people from buying property. Another Brexit benefit for those who voted for it!

So this could be another Brexit benefit!

Please retweet if you want the Labour government to do its utmost to restore the Freedom of Movement that was robbed from us by the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history.

What an obnoxious person Johnson is. Never accepted responsibility for any of his failings.

I agree with you. I’m not a veggie but as the wife is we eat mainly non meat meals. Even when I go out to restaurants I often choose a non meat dish. On a recent trip to Prague we found a delicious vegan restaurant. My meat consumption goes up on our trips to Greece though.
The older I get the less meat I eat…..I’m finding that I see the animal before the ‘meal’ which kind of puts me off the eating.
Must be getting soft in my old age. 😉

Let him know he’s wrong by sharing this widely
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says

“We need to leave the ECHR so we can deport people that come illegally & take back control of our borders & that’s what the public wants”

Share if you disagree with his populist boll**** the UK should join Russia & Belarus outside the ECHR

Now off that poisonous X. Seems difficult finding many I followed on her at the moment. No doubt it will take time.

Totally with you on this. Following the result, some of my friends and family who voted leave surprised me. Some of whom I thought were intelligent believed the lies they were told.
Angela Merkel may have been ‘tormented’ by the Brexit vote, I and many others like me were traumatised.
I wouldn’t have felt any more betrayed if my U.K. nationality had been taken away.
For me the primary cost of Brexit is certainly not financial.
