Not if they came into the role over the course of the last 5 years. pay has been rebalanced and older ones are worse off, as are many of us in ‘real terms’ but newly qualified doctors are jumping on a band wagon of a a protest which has so far seen their pay go up by nearly a 1/3rd and wanting more

28.9% rise in the last 2 years. Not bad. A good proportion of these doctors were at university during the austerity years, they haven’t lost real terms pay, they’ve had a big increase on their starting rate. Since Labour BBs bottled the welfare changes we can’t afford a big rise anyway.

As enjoyable as it was to see them ruined in the election, the result of her inadequacy has been the rise of reform. That she surrounds herself with the most odious of the remaining Tories has only reinforced my belief that they didn’t learn from defeat.

Reform, and the Greens have maxed out their Social media engagement in a way the Lib Dem’s have hugely failed to do. Given the split vote between the chasing pack it’s going to take a lot of tactical voting to keep reform out
