Thanks for reading. I’ve been playing this deck for years now. I remember back when we’d destroy Nova with Killmonger back in the day. Anyway, I want to continue to tinker with the deck in conquest. Let me know if you’ve tried it and have thoughts. Happy snapping!

As I’ve already said, this deck eats combo decks alive. Proactive decks are a struggle. At a certain point you can’t keep up with points if your tech doesn’t really hurt em. Ongoing and Wiccan decks are challenging. Might be worth a change of tech.

Lastly, there are Cosmic Ghost Rider and Enchantress. Unfortunately they are 5 cost and reactive. They’re simply too expensive in this deck (and most decks not featuring the big red guy) and can’t combo on T6. I wouldn’t play em.

In general we want to keep adding points in hand and throw prio. I don’t have Viv Vision but she’s very compelling. Omega Sentinel could also be cool as it’s not much on field until you activate. But I don’t think it does enough for a 4-cost and it’s an activate.

I’ve played Grandmaster before who can be cool but is too specific. You don’t always want the same effect in 2 lanes. Stardust and MMM are great cards and are pretty meta dependent but can help slow the opp gameplan in the mid-game.

There’s a few other cards we could run. I’ll start with the most obvious tech cards. Red Guardian is very solid disruption and could easily slot in. Location control can be super helpful and Scarlet Witch can help us out for cheap. US Agent is also a lot of points and only minimally conflicts.

If you can predict where they’re gonna make their plays, you can probably shut them down in 2 lanes with your tech. Knowing if they’re missing a combo piece can give you a ton of confidence to snap. So I do like having her in there but she’s the most cuttable for sure.

The actual effect you copy is often useless and can sometimes be detrimental. But her main benefit is information which is really the biggest strength of this deck. You’re playing on a different playing field than your opponent.

The last 2 spots are more flexible. Gwenpool just adds some stats and is clutch if it hits Mysterio (although it always seems to hit Shadow King ugh). It should stay for now but there may be a potential replacement. The other really interesting card is Copycat. I’ve mulled cutting her for more tech.

The real MVPs of the deck are the enablers: Sera (my fave card all time), Mister Fantastic FS and Invisible Woman. IW is incredible in this deck and really makes it pop. You can hide SK or Shang behind it or play an early Hit Monkey. Just be careful as you may need to play SK over top.

The main struggle of the deck is developing enough points. The main strat is simply an early Bishop, then Hit Monkey and Mysterio (+ a tech card) on T6. You’re not putting up much but the tech levels the playing field so you don’t need much.

Despite the hits to tech, they can still do some damage in this deck. Shadow King is unbelievable right now and Shang is still solid. They can go for huge point swings. Killmonger and Rogue are more matchup dependent but KM is doing a lot right now. Rogue also can cover a MMM in the early game.

Does it make sense to try and save up for a Scream style bundle?
