There may be ‘gems’ but I thought it was ‘know the least’. I wouldn’t call Press To Play a ‘gem’ but I know it more than many of last c25 years … maybe it’s my age & how we listen as well. I can sing along with many but last few I don’t …. So I don’t ‘know’ them as well - despite numerous copies !!!

No idea ! But he was the least Irish connected of the 4 …. Doubt it! His much loved step dad was a Cockney so maybe an EastEnd pub knee’s up !!!

Absolutely love Back to the Egg … it came out when I was 15 & I have played it so much … a couple of copies signed by Denny, Laurence & Steve too! I would say from Driving Rain onwards I know them less with McCartney III and Memory Almost Full the least played

Good taste. My memories of Cheer Down was staying to the end of Lethal Weapon 2 (not Karate Kid 2 as George would say!) till very end as everyone left (much to annoyance of ex!) … it was a while before released !

Well done for alternate listens in car! My kids do a choice which they hope we all will like & if I am lucky on a long drive I get requests !!! Number 2 back tomorrow … it gets quieter ! … but not as quiet as it will after summer - all 3 will be gone !

Agree. Enjoyed & was simply looking forward to a Ringo LP rather than a country one and that’s mostly what it is. It’s great he still is enjoying making new music pushing 85! …. peace n love !

Just finished listening to it & enjoyed. I actually felt it could have been MORE Country ! Many songs the music was country but overall the song was simply ‘Ringo’ ! … no bad thing there - it suits him.

Good idea. It also passed me by … as for not having too many Beatles books … I think I need someone to pull me back most times … I might just buy too many - but then realise I have missed a gem !

Nobody else barely enters that room anymore. I’ve still got that job to do on books. Am due a new Genesis soon so that might prompt to do the lot!

I’ve got to sort mine … there are too many which need inserting in the correct location … there was a system once but I ran out of shelves !

Love that album. What a list of artists contributing ! I remember buying it on release just a year after the only time I saw him live - at Shepherds Bush Empire for Buddy Holly Week Concert along with The Crickets & for an encore of Rave On with Paul!
