Roberts' argument is that judges are receiving threats and that intemporate criticism of the courts leads, in a causal way, to threats of violence against judges.

Meanwhile, our former and soon to be President used intemporate words to work up a crowd into actual violent insurrection.

As a nerd, I'm all for more love for nerds. But when was it ever different?
Is it just me, or does the whole MAGA movement seem like a handful of people working out grand revenge fantasies in public as a way to work through personal trauma?

This is more apt than it first appears. Imagine, as the Titanic begins to sink and rescue operations begin, some passengers and crew say "hey remember when we were over by the iceberg, we weren't sinking then. Let's go back!"
