Charlie Kirkwas happy for there to be a blood sacrifice on the altar of gun rights– I guess he just didn’t expect it to be him

To even make that suggestion is beyond contempt. Obviously, violence against anyone is deplorable. But all the evidence is that proportionally more violence in America is committed by citizens rather than by “illegals“

There is a perfectly good solution, which is to vote against the bill if you’ve been double crossed

Not forgetting that disabled people also need to enjoy themselves. We need to go out for dinner and to shows. too much emphasis in this thread about people needing to work and shop. We disabled need a life as well.

Can we get our kids to opt out of hearing stories that feature religious people as well? I doubt it.

The trouble with Tasmania is that the government is small enough to get captured by particular sectional interests. And those interests capture both parties – the bosses tell the liberals what to do, and the unions in that industry tell labor what to do. Hydro, forestry, salmon, AFL. On it goes

First there was “fake news“ and now there is this attack on science in general, because science produces factual results that are inconvenient to the Republican worldview

So sick of these developers thumbing their noses at environmental laws because the penalties are so low and they just treat it as a cost of business. Their property needs to be confiscated when they do this and they need to pay for the full rehabilitation
February 25, 2025 at 3:16 AM
These disgusting scum who flaunt environmental laws treating the trivial penalties as just the cost of business need to be held to account
