Neal Cohen presents findings from the close it trial. Twelve week non-inferiority RCT. Fully closed loop based on 0ref1. Time in range was non-inferior for fully closed loop compared to hybrid closed loop. Just under 70% TIR. #ATTD2025

Professor Marc Breton presents on uses of simulations and digital twins for validating predictive AI systems to work with CGM data in #T1D. In silico subjects don't replicate the variable behaviour seen in vivo subjects. Work has focused on trying to replicate this variability using digital twins.

Our extension phase data for 2nd gen Libre in children with #T1D and high risk HbA1c is now published. Less hypoglycemia and more glucose monitoring was sustained but no sig reduction in HbA1c. The tech is now dated, but we suggest CGM alone is not sufficient. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.111/d...

Today is a day for celebrating: I have had two abstracts accepted for #ATTD25 in Amsterdam and have been appointed to the role of Associate Dean Academic in the Division of Health at the University of Waikato. I'm looking forward to presenting my work on #diabetes at ATTD.
