Professor Marc Breton presents on uses of simulations and digital twins for validating predictive AI systems to work with CGM data in #T1D. In silico subjects don't replicate the variable behaviour seen in vivo subjects. Work has focused on trying to replicate this variability using digital twins.

Our extension phase data for 2nd gen Libre in children with #T1D and high risk HbA1c is now published. Less hypoglycemia and more glucose monitoring was sustained but no sig reduction in HbA1c. Today is a day for celebrating: I have had two abstracts accepted for #ATTD25 in Amsterdam and have been appointed to the role of Associate Dean Academic in the Division of Health at the University of Waikato. I'm looking forward to presenting my work on #diabetes at ATTD.
