I'm still just populating my follow list from Twitter. If anybody has a recommend, please hit me up.
Queer disabled socialist.
You know the sort of thing.
Admittedly, it is less problematic vocally (where people will likely catch themselves having said something asinine), but I've seen it written down in essay format where it reads as unintelligible muttering.

Wars have started over misplaced commas.

I just hope that we write better than we speak.

Apart from examples I have listed in the thread (which is in no way comprehensive).

I agree that grammar nazism is not an admirable quality, but this trend invites absurdity.

"See anything you like?"
>"A couple fries."
(You then buy two orders of fries, and they point to a couple at a crepe stand)

A judge* will soon insist that "I support enslaving the unhoused into working to pay my mortgage and homelessness to anybody who disagrees," is an opinion worthy of respect in modern society.

"I couldn't give a couple of fucks" correctly implies that the speaker does not care even a small amount.

"I could give a couple fucks" (which Americans believe means exactly the same) is actually advertising your services as a unicorn in a three-way.

"A couple of places" is a few areas.

"A couple places" means they did quite well in a race.

"A couple of planes" is something you might see at an airport.

"A couple planes" implies collaborative carpentry.

"A couple of shaves," you may get from a razor.

"A couple shaves"? More porn!
3/2 (sorry)

The ommission of the word "of" after the word "couple" is whisking my brain into froth.

"I made a couple of friends," is a simple, lovely phrase.

"I made a couple friends," is a tale of coercion.

"A couple of couples," means more than one couple, while "a couple couples," is pornographic.

Wait.

Its strikes that turned the NHS to shit?

Not PFI or rampant private sector profiteering that meant successive govts could crow about record funding when much of that funding is pouring into private hands?

Fuck off, Wes.

If a thatcherite goon whines about strikes, then everybody out!

WTF is this fresh hell?

@zackpolanski.bsky.social?

How are Green MPs briefed on photo-ops with vicious genocidal lunatics?

Welcome her work on green issues, sure, but reward her with a photo, like she isn't an opponent of human rights? Hell, no.

Right-wing freaks should be shunned, at least.

Maitlis sounds like Miss Havisham sadly explaining that all the trans folk *must* suffer "to keep the long line of predatory males that surely wait outside my door from getting a key."

She can get in the bin with the rest of the middle-aged, desperate TERFs.

Strange to have a paedo so eagerly offer their identity.

You're normally such secretive types.

But for you, by a biological definition that seems to supersede laws, ten-yr-old girls are "women."

Don't offer to babysit.

"Yes, they did, Nigel. They also swung a referendum by constantly platforming a minority political figure far beyond his importance and competence. Would you like to complain about *that*?

"No, I thought not. Sit down, you wretched sack of cat turds."
November 11, 2025 at 1:50 PM
True, but the right-wing current affairs dept has swung elections and referendums, perpetrated outrageous scams, and encouraged and excused genocides at home and abroad.

So if the nice lefty bit has to burn to free us of the right-wing bit, I'm not gonna lose a wink of sleep.

The "rebuke" of Martine Croxall is what was wrong?

So, a 10-year-old girl is "a woman" for James Cleverly.

Check his hard drive, I guess.

My partner and I (both invisibly disabled) got snapped at by a steaming sack of dead rats for sitting on a seat on the bus that she seemed to insist was for disabled people only.

Enh.

She'll be dead soon.

A reminder that the BBC have been progressively more and more trans-hostile over the last 8 years.

For ‘gender critical’ transphobes to claim the BBC has been ‘captured’ is 💯 gaslighting and just telling on themselves!

Isn't "he"?

Honestly, I wish you had stopped creating things with "Extras."

Back then, I could believe that you provided some of the genius that Merchant was pulling off.

Just take the Office money, apologise for being a transphobic cunt and then fuck off out of public life.

Best wishes.
