One more piece of art received from the commissions I purchased at @cozycononline.com! This one is from @vetrinanicoleart.bsky.social, I received it tonight! Huge thanks to Vetrina for the piece!

More art from @cozycononline.com ! This one was commissioned to @silhou.bsky.social , and the result is great! Like my lion's reporter background, Marjorie is rarely shown doing experiments and science and stuff, so I do like getting a chance to show it!

Received a commission today from @zigzagzazz.iheartpocket.monster, commissioned during @cozycononline.com . Art of my characters Nicolas and Marjorie being prog rock/metal dorks.

Super cute picture, I love it so much.

New art commissioned at @cozycononline.com last weekend - received it this morning before I went to work! One more picture of OC Chess, loosely inspired by the Cheschire Cat. (And, bonus, this one is safe as there's neither a weapon nor blood in the pic - unless you despise Gremlin-like faces XD)

Aliss was later adapted into a graphic novel, and Chess there is... Welll, see for yourself.

Received a fourth art commission made at Canfurence! This one was drawn by @genystar.bsky.social and came in the mail this morning! (Labeled for rough visuals due to implications of blood and violence).

This character is named Chess, I don't get him drawn as often, and he takes some explaining.

As thanks for this picture, Scott had a little gift of her own for me on Sunday afternoon - a sketch of my lion! Looking pretty great here, too.

Now sharing the art obtained at CanFURence! (the two I haven't shared nor seen posted by anyone else, anyway)

The first was drawn by @azzurrabluefox.bsky.social and obtained... on Friday, I believe? This is my villainous crow Malum, and he's looking great here.

This little shoulder guy definitely got people's attention during the con! I picked it as a mini reference to King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

Currently at #Canfurence - first time meeting my good online friend @scottderg.bsky.social in person! Figured I'd make that special by doing some art (I draw so rarely) and drawing her dragon 'sona.

PLANNED ALL ALONG THROWBACK #3

Third review ever on the blog was Desktop Tower Defense, on Nintendo DS; pretty much a Flash game adapted for a portable console. As a fan of the tower defense genre, I had already played this game online, so I was surprised this existed at all.

Piece of art received recently! Piece was purchased during the @starwarriorscomic.com fundraiser. Art by Kir!

PLANNED ALL ALONG THROWBACK #2

My second review ever on the blog was Big Brain Academy.

At the time, I had come up with a system to cover a bit of everything each time: A GBA game, two DS games, one Wii, then one WiiWare or Virtual Console title, with all that topped by a Top 12 article.

PLANNED ALL ALONG THROWBACK #1

My first review, ever, on the blog was for a crossover of two games: Crash Purple and Spyro Orange. Never heard of them? You're lucky. Despite having a cool crossover concept between Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, these were more minigame collections than platformers.

Not at AnthroCon in person, but there in spirit! Every single time I went to Pittsburgh I had something buffalo-flavored.

Buffalo poutine with chicken, from a restaurant near home!

Obviously everyone today is commenting on this and... well, guess I will as well.

Considering that in another Tweet Elon heavily implied he tampered with the election where Donald was losing before he interfered... well, if he was hoping to look better in comparison, that fails too.

...Oh damn, I forgot I had that paragraph in there. Still feels satisfying to read.

Unrelated to the whole "making robots" gimmick the Twins had, since I also didn't have title cards for that. So instead: Well, here's the two I chose. Figured the "inventor/technology" thing fit to use No More Heroes. Then, I just filled the last spot with something that worked. Phew!
April 11, 2025 at 10:54 PM
That also left Lucas Lee, the most "normal" of Ramona's exes. I have plenty of pics where I just look normal, so I wanted to figure something else. Lee smokes, right? Plus, actor in action films?

...It's a stretch, but that pic I made for an article on GTA: Chinatown Wars (DS) will work.
April 11, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Besides, I also didn't want that pic to give the impression it was stealing space from the others, so I elected to do this last while everything else was figured out.

Matthew Patel? Uhhhhhh... Demon hipster chicks weren't available, so... Uh, Link has mystical powers right? Screw it, let's do that.
April 11, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Another easy one: Roxy Richter, the ninja. I have a handful of images that look ninja-like enough to work. Just flip it, try to make the movie poster disappear, fail, figure out it won't be noticeable anyway, there ya go, assassin/ninja added to the picture.
April 11, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Then... I had to dig through title card - I've been making those since 2014 - to find stuff either similar to the gimmick of every other ex, or something else that'd be fun to have in there.

Easiest one? Todd Ingram. Psychic powers. Cool, I have this one from 2015, it fits!

Updated the list of games I want to get through this year!

(No, I won't do them all, I'm prepared for that.)

I also removed the games I did cover since my previous list (....which, really, is just the three Yu-Gi-Oh! games.)

Also added a handful to the Quick Review list (on the left).

Bird needed her coffee.

(art commission purchased from @keena.bsky.social at last year's AnthroCon, received quite belatedly, but I am very happy with the result. Thanks a ton keena!)
