fun fact: the smallest version of deepseek, deepseek-r1:1.5b which you can download and run easily and at high speeds on your own computer, actually outperforms OpenAI ChatGPT 4o in the MATH benchmark. 4o costed like a billion to make and is also 750x harder to run. even though its china, it's EPIC

with the costs of the new nvidia GPUs right now, it would be better to buy a RTX 4090 at deflated prices, considering the 5090 is just a 30% larger chip at 30% higher costs drinking 30% more power, just with DLSS 4 and "2x AI Performance"
