We are pretty sure the babies are both girls, so I’ve continued the naming theme of their mom & aunties.

Our girl Luisa surprised us with two beautiful baby girls, and now they have names to match their strong little spirits. 💪

Many parts of the world are experiencing a heat wave - here are our tips for keeping your small pets cool in the summer! 🧊🐹😎
Help your pets beat the heat! 🌬️ Keep Their Space Shaded and Ventilated 🌬️ Close curtains or blinds during peak sun. 🌬️ Use fans to circulate air (never blow directly on the animal). 🌬️ Avoid placing enclosures near windows. 🧊 Offer Frozen Water Bottles or Tiles 🧊 Wrap frozen water bottles in a sock or cloth and place near their hideout. 🧊 Use chilled ceramic tiles, bricks, or marble slabs as cool surfaces to lie on. 💧 Ensure Fresh, Cool Water Is Always Available 💧 Change water often to keep it cool. 💧 Add a few ice cubes to water bottles or bowls (if they don’t discourage drinking). 🚙 Don’t transport animals during the hottest part of the day. ❄️ Use Cooling Pads (with Supervision) ❄️ Pet-safe gel pads or freezer packs can help — just make sure they can’t chew them. 💡 Keeping the lights off may make it feel cooler and encourage your pets to rest.

Danni here. I'm going to photo dump all the pictures of the boys that I took. I don't have the heart to organize & describe the terrible things I'm seeing right now. As a rescuer, I see some pretty messed up things on a fairly regular basis but only 2 other cases have made me this emotional before.

Little kumquat (okay maybe not so little anymore 😂) has a meet and greet today! So of course he had to look his best - he got a bath which he was not so thrilled about and a blow dry which he thoroughly enjoyed! I mean look at those luscious locks flowing in the wind 😻 - Jen

We just want to take a moment to thank all of our amazing adopters. For almost 15 years we have had the most incredible families adopt small pets, the occassional cat/kitten and even a dog once!
