Still wrapping my head and my words around this, but here is a peak at what I've uncovered.

In addition to spurious rationale for abandoning the nationally established definition of a Covid-19 fatality, NB's reporting change led to approximately 44% of Covid-caused deaths to go uncounted in 2023.

Saint John friends

I share that deep bewilderment at the idea that masks (and pretty much every other covid-competent measure) are a sign of uncritical conformism.

The fleeting moment when some government policy aligned with human wellbeing was so brief I’m amazed they noticed it.

When NB Public Health stopped counting covid deaths which occurred outside of hospitals they ended up with a smaller number.
