I also really loved Nosferatu, The Devil’s Bath and Oddity.

My biggest disappointment was MaXXXine. I enjoyed X and Loved Pearl. But the upward trend with the first two did not carry over and I thought MaXXXine was dull and predictable but I guess done with style.

I don’t know what my absolute favorite was. But for 2024 movies, the biggest surprise for me was the Substance. I’m nearly always on top of movie announcements and what’s coming soon and hadn’t heard about it until it was released.

Oh that’s fair. I view most of the problems as generational.
But I see what you mean. That is a whole problem of its own.
