Systems challenger, excessive podcast consumer, shamelessly trying to convince my cats to love me the most (remaining hopeful). Gradually realizing that whims of boredom + relentless curiosity make a dangerous combo (2 masters and PhD slowly simmering)
My daughter and I stumbled upon this book years ago as we were looking for an audiobook for a roadtrip from our local library. It was our introduction into your work. Sometimes I just get that itch to delve into their world again and it never disappoints

CO already had this in place for the last 2 years…funding free breakfast and lunches for all public school children. We just kept it going. And it’s been so amazing to have this.

I just read a bit about the rape of nanjing and was beyond repulsed by the atrocities committed there by the Japanese soldiers and what seems to be very little (if any) apologies for those acts. The sheer amount of people who were killed is mind boggling.

My take, she certainly seems to put more emotional range into her songs about breakups and such. I’m disappointed in her new album because writing about love, can have so much emotional depth, which, if there was that in this album, didn’t only go over my head but was on another field miles away.

This hurts my heart for the cruelty but is soo refreshing to hear that people are showing up bringing love and kindness & letting that 3 year old know they’re special and loved 💜

What did you decide to do? If you went in, any juicy gossip?

This is my go to for focusing. A friend recommended this album to me and it hits my brain just right.

Growing up I didn’t realize how amazing Dolly was. Now I’m more aware.

If you all don’t know about ‘A Smokey Mountain Christmas’ you should go watch it. That was my mom’s holiday movie that I used to groan about when she wanted to watch it with us.

I think I want a pie now….

The best thing she could do is to pressure the NFL to continue to research & put in protections to make it a less dangerous sport not only for the NFL players but especially for the kids and youth. Sadly, CTE starts when kiddos are young and continue to get exposed to repetitive head impacts.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m in the clear but I guess it’s always good to be on the alert for potential recalls. Food safety matters :)

1. Trader Joe’s has some decent freezer meals

2. you can do so much with an instapot. Soups can be delicious & nutritious.

3. Check out your county or your local 4-H for cooking classes

4. I’d gladly share meals/leftovers (my spouse does the cooking) — you’d have to like Indian food & come to CO

I grew up with multiple dogs and they still liked me too much and wanted me to pet them or scratch them whenever they were around me.

I’m glad there are dog people. I’m okay that I am not one of them. Dogs stress me out with their neediness.

I personally enjoy functioning sewage systems. I mean, that’s one of the reasons I choose not to camp. If we having a functioning sewage system, why go back on progress??

They like you too much. And you have to really help entertain them. That is the problem.

The US could honor the original treaty to the Crow Nation and that land would be in their care. This area was originally designated to the Crow Nation (I know it was still a small part of their territory) by, I believe, the 1851 treaty.

She’s probably relieved…except when he’s home he probably whines like no other. I hope she has some good noise canceling headphones

It’s bullying and abuse.

If someone is engaging in such egregious behavior publicly I can’t imagine how they show up in their private life…..

Also, condoning other violence and threats to others is not okay. Making or supporting threats and engaging in other types of emotional violence is more than a differing of opinion. Making someone feel unsafe because “you disagree or have a different viewpoint” is not an open exchange of ideas.
