I bound some more journals, and this time included sizes I've dubbed Octo and Sexto, to go with Quarto. Fold a sheet of copier paper in half crosswise and then lengthwise for Quarto size; fold again for Octo, and again for Sexto. Soft leather; waxed cotton long-stitch; 72 leaves/144 pp acid-free.

The rosemary survived the winter! Maybe I'll try propagating it this summer, because it's demonstrated its willingness to tolerate me. 😁

Just alum on mine. Kept the temperature down, and then let it cool overnight before draining the fleece. I did not, nor knew to, test the pH of the water before I started.

The beauty of binding your own, especially with non-adhesive "limp parchment" style, is that reusing the cover (in this case, soft leather) and even retain certain sections (with info that is more stable). Today, I printed day sections for a week per spread. I'm fine with adding dates.

Achieved most of today's list, with inroads on the last two items. Adding them to tomorrow's list. Also got over my 5000 steps today, on my way to a monthly average of 5000/day; 6000 causes me pain, so it means doing 5000/day and no averaging!

Such an odd day, but managed to accomplish some useful things. It's like a planetary shift, even if I didn't get my steps. Tomorrow comes with a new list for me. 😄
