From there, we drove north once more to the Bear Lake trailhead in Tettegouche State Park. We hiked about 3 miles in before setting up camp. We had a solitary and chilly night. We saw the stars and heard a wolf howl. The next morning we completed the Bear Lake Loop.

Starting in La Crosse, WI, we drove ~4hrs north to spend Friday night in Duluth. We stayed at the cutest motel and ate at a farm-to-table restaurant for dinner. The next morning, we drove about an hour north to get breakfast in Two Harbors and then made a pit stop at Split Rock Lighthouse #duluth

* Trekking the Sierra mountains in a record-high snow year
* Hitchhiking alone so 👏🏼 many 👏🏼 times 👏🏼
* Coming face-to-face with multiple grizzlies while hiking in Glacier National Park
