maybe you’re still performing. even when you swear you’re not.
I was.

Stop Performing. Start Choosing.
Unmasking didn’t look like I thought it would. It looked like letting the laundry sit, drinking a glass of wine, and trusting that I’m still enough.

We can’t just stand by as the marines are being deployed in LA, right?
This has got to be a final straw, right?

Protesting is a right, our military shouldn’t be deployed against citizens who are practicing their rights.

This is unconstitutional. This is wrong.

I found out I’m likely autistic last week.
No, I didn’t see it coming.

This post is about unmasking, spiraling, and making sense of who I’ve always been.

If you’ve ever felt like the weird one — the too much, too intense, too sensitive one — I wrote this for you.

I used to think stay-at-home moms faded into the background.

Then my daughter whispered “I’m brave, I can do this” before jumping off a play structure.

Maybe she got that from me.

This time is not a detour. It’s part of the damn road.

I got in shape without a gym, a trainer, or giving up wine.
I’m proud of my body.
I shouldn’t have to whisper that.

Now I’m the adult — with kids, a degree, and a whole lot of questions.

I wrote about still feeling unfinished.

I’ve given birth twice.
Once unmedicated. Once via planned C-section.
This isn’t an advice post.
It’s just the truth, written down, in case someone else is trying to make peace with how their story unfolded.

I hope it meets you where you are.

At the park. The sun is out. The kids are calm.
For once, it’s peaceful inside too.

I know it can all go sideways in a minute. But right now?
This is nice.
For now.

What folks love about @repjasmine.bsky.social is simple—she keeps it real. No sugarcoating, no political gymnastics. She says what the rest of us are thinking but don’t have the mic to say out loud.

She’s right—this is a “nightmare”. And we need more voices like hers, calling it out—no apologies!
