This Star-Lord was reluctant to see any doctors on Earth, and it was doubtful many would even know how to assist him. And in space? Just as unlikely.

As if scooping a fish out of a pond, the young Star-Lord was picked up from Earth. Cradled, in the clawed palm of a golden entity.

beings who had seen eons of life and death cycle elsewhere had lost any sense of what it meant to mourn the loss of life, or the joy of birth. It was just an eternity, or a cycle, much like anything else. It wasn't special to them.
