Keep practicing cylinders with various weights too. Also, online you might find a chart that gives a road map for sizes of things you make with the amount of clay you're using. Have fun and keep pushing. 😀

Make sure you anchor your arms either on your thighs or splash pan. Keep your hands touching as best you can, shouldn't be to hard with the little amount of clay. Keep your inside finger above your outside fingers and move straight up evenly. Think of yourself as a needle and the clay is the record.

Be more aggressive collecting that clay from the bottom. Check the depth with your needle tool and make sure you visually verify it to the outside. Set your wheel speed and take your foot off the peddle to limit variying wheel speed. Breathe and don't be afraid to take it further. 🤘🏾
