Second vantage, because I can’t help myself:
A second view of the castle from the opposite side, within the haunted forest, that shows the Keep tower in roughly the upper middle, the Clocktower just to the right, and the Long Library below both. The massive Gatehouse towers are to the left of the Long Library, and dominate the view.

The reworked keep roof does look much better.

We also discovered that we can use one bottle and the dirt at our concrete area to make massive amount of mud. (I own that “duh!” moment, fully.)

The castle so far - the Keep is in upper left of this picture of the castle, it is the tallest tower, showing off the new peaked roof. To the right is the Clocktower, with the flying staircase in front of the clock face, going from the Keep, on the left of the Clocktower, to the Long Library tower, just in front and below the often mentioned Clocktower. The main Long Library is visible below and in the center of the castle, and the Gatehouse towers to the right of the Long Library. The entire castle is made of mostly dark grey cobbled deepslate (SO MUCH!) and all the roofs are made of red concrete.

The stream went well! To put some context to what I'm doing, I've been building a victorian-style house and then went exploring, and caught this screenshot:
