The administration want to demonize immigrants as the fuel for MAGA hatred. Love and community are the fuel of opposition. This is a good week to find community to push back on hate.

What will make a difference is people rising up. Help your family & friends find protests, install the @5calls.org app. Encourage local businesses to post supportive signs, create PRIVATE areas for safety from raids. Find your activism. You matter.

This is a reminder that there are so many ways to resist. Some folks will hit the streets Some folks will contact elected officials Some folks will run for office Some folks will raise money Some folks will bail out protesters Some folks will represent pro bono Some folks will boycott Shop local/small/Marginalized owned businesses Some folks will donate Some folks will volunteer All of these folks are doing the work. We need everyone, in their own lane. It all matters.

Senator Padilla’s polo shirt clearly identifies him as a US Senator. Senator Padilla is a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, & Border Safety. He is the senior Senator for CA. It isn’t credible for Sec. Noem to not recognize him.
