Your iPhone weather app now has @nws.noaa.gov notifications for things like tornadoes and flash floods alerts. Here’s how to turn them on for your location and any other locations you want to track plus an example of what one looks like.

A heat wave has engulfed much of the eastern US over the last few days. Hundreds of daily high temp records have been broken, and all-time June high temp records have also been set.

The heat wave is expected to ease for a large portion of the east through the weekend.
