The Mount Underwood wildfire near China Creek on Vancouver Island continues to burn out of control.

Power has been cut off to the communities of Nitinaht, Anacla and Bamfield since Monday, August 11, and there is currently no timeline for restoration.

Wrapping up a week of dissecting stickleback previously fed copepods infected with S. solidus.
