Second: the early work on future self-continuity has been the seed for much other research and it's great to see that the initial relationships between how people feel about their future selves and what they do with their money shows up again in a much larger, representative sample.

And here's why: first, because it represents a years-long collaboration with Sue Kerbel from the CFPB, who retired only a few weeks ago after 13 years doing incredible work for that incredible organization!

In some ways, this paper isn't a *cutting edge* paper - we're not showing a brand new finding that hasn't been shown in other papers. But I'm super proud of this work just the same!
