East coast guy living in the Pacific Northwest. Old Saabs, cool music, good books and long walks. Purdue gridiron tragic. Mediocre curler.
I'd like to think most B1G fans won't go the SEC route and drink the "yay conference" Kool-Aid. Da U fans have their own issues, but they are not as insufferable as these bandwagon IU football fans who were rooting for Notre Dame just 2 years ago.

I recall Jeanine Garafolo talking about being on a panel with a young Tucker Carlson years ago saying they had a smoke break together and he was a regular guy, but when the cameras turned on, it was the Tucker we know.

An actual NFL scout did a video last season about Shedeur, giving the reasons why he'd be a lower draft pick- mechanics, measurables, decision making, etc. Basically, he's a QB who sees things through a Cornerback's lens because his only coach (Prime) was one of the great DB's.

If you give a bully your lunch money too quickly, they are going to shake you down for the bus fare in your other pocket.

This looks like a nano version of the Landmaster truck from cheesy 70's apocalypse movie "Damnation Alley" www.autoevolution.com/news/the-lan...

Sick burn. And I have relatives that went to SJU.

Still trying to get over some IU faithful trying to manifest Jay Wright coming out of retirement to coach the Hoosiers by repeating it online ad nauseum.

I believe the old NIT reseeded each round back in the day
March 23, 2025 at 1:22 AM
3 B1G teams (IU, NW, Rutgers) declined NIT bids according to one website. IU *might* be holding out for the new 16-team "The Crown" tournament which holds slots for 8 major conference teams, with underperforming "bluebloods" targeted. Problem is, it starts a week after the portal opens.

Saw the original in the theater. Like everyone else there, I gasped with the 3D immersion and worldbuilding. But the effects masked a *very* thin story, and rewatching on cable confirmed it, and I changed the channel. Never had any desire to see the sequel.

I know you're giving cults a break but reupping this suggestion because I see this film is streaming free with commercials on multiple channels all of a sudden: Fandango (formerly Vudu), Tubi, Freevee and Pluto. It's trippy stuff. Trailer: www.dailymotion.com/video/x8hrslf

Friend of mine was on a beer league softball team sponsored by the local butcher shop. The team's motto: "nobody beats our team; nobody beats our meat!"
