Works in green/fintech as a software developer, fighting for the energy transition using real economics and modelling.

Likes technology, economics, and the environment. Dangerously woke.
Since 1970, the era in which where wages and productivity decoupled the average age in England for marriage has shot up.

There have been a number of changing reasons grasped at as to why, but the fact is life is now harder than it ever has been for the young.

Drying up... the man's innumerate too. More aid has been given in the last 12 than the previous 12.

It has, however, shattered Labour's base. This graph should be ringing alarm bells in Labour HQ, but I firmly beehive the party is braindead so they will undoubtedly stay the course.

One notable thing about this weeks voting intention is that despite the overwhelming amount of red meat thrown to reform voters over the last year, it has done absolutely nothing to win them over.

The highest income tax band in Sweden is 55.6%. Also tax as a percentage of GDP is 6% higher than the UK, it runs a 0.5% SURPLUS. And government debt is 35% of GDP as opposed to our 96%. It is not difficult to see why Reeve's isn't doing tax cuts.

Further to my previous post, Brexit support is now at a net -25%. The Lib Dems, who are the only major party to tacitly acknowledge reality, will reap a boon electorally from this.

The Brexit supporting cohort are mostly dead or have changed their minds.

You are literally arguing against something the projects own documentation states. Unless, of course, I am in fact mistaken and the business case is now, outdated and wrong and that relief of the Dartford Crossing is not the purpose of the project.

I have actually read the business case the FT article doesn't even reference. The whole business case as laid out in the route consultation in 2016 is specifically to address the low GVA addition close to the crossing specifically to Kent and Essex.

This is unlikely. Though the oil is intended to help with heat dissipation and transfer, draining it would not cause immediate failure. There is also a 400kV transmission line north and south that would be able to take up the slack capacity.

This is Bryan Budd. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on the 20th of August 2006. He was awarded the Victoria cross posthumously for sacrificing himself to save his section while under heavy fire less than 50 metres away from the enemy.

JD Vance believes this man does not exist.

If anyone is wondering why Ukraine is fighting so hard to retain its independence and align with Europe look at this graph of the wealth of Poland.
