Then the headline is horrible

"seemingly" being the operative word. There's not a group that Starmer hasn't stabbed in the back. He'd sell Jewish people down the river, too, if it was expedient for him.

The real culprit is car based infrastructure at the expense of fast, affordable public transport. That will never be addressed.

Can’t think of a more deserving person than Sadiq

This immigrant will never vote Labour again. Greens all the way!

I would agree if not for the US of A.

There are morons in every country. Those same "Jai Israel" idiots also use the swastikas not in the Indian sense but in the neo-Nazi sense. Don't judge the whole country by that metric. I'm sure people like that are there in every country.

It's not for show, it is India's stance and has been for very long. Don't alienate your friends just because some corrupt people (Modi etc) make you feel insecure. It's detrimental to the cause that you are supposed to be supporting.
May 8, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Israel is not an ally of India. India has consistently voted on the side of Palestine in the UN, including after Modi took over. I'm no supporter of Modi, but please get your facts straight.

Would you rather they wait a decade or more for full rejoining and allow an entire generation to go to waste? Don’t let your idealism stop something good from happening while we wait for something even better to happen.

If that happens, what will be lost is the reliability of accreditation process. The accreditation is downstream of the quality of the institution, not the other way around.

Your anger should really be directed at Supreme Court and those who have funded this despicable campaign to disenfranchise trans people, i. e. JK Rowling.
April 22, 2025 at 2:37 PM
I completely understand your frustration. But please bear in mind that for him to say otherwise in light of the Supreme Court ruling will just give ammunition to right wingers to attack him.
April 22, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Don't know what point you think you're making here, but that's me and my family. What must it be like to call profile pictures of people as "generic".
April 8, 2025 at 1:59 PM
Brother, you have "don't obey in advance" in your bio. Take your own advice!
April 8, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Those who did vote (the 48.3%) are voluntarily letting the power of their vote go to waste. "Now we must suffer" is exactly what I would hope people were thinking of I was trump or musk.
April 8, 2025 at 1:25 PM
This actually explains a lot of the current situation. People really think once they've voted in an election, they've done their bit.
April 8, 2025 at 1:20 PM
Keep speaking platitudes while the world goes to shit and your country leading us there. It's not like you were given 48.3% votes to mount a meaningful opposition.
April 8, 2025 at 6:03 AM
Not taking him on his word in everything. Just in this context, seems like the reasonable thing to do. But believe what you want.
March 24, 2025 at 2:14 PM
On the one hand, of course that's a despicable thing to say for Starmer. On the other, with the way things are going for UK after Brexit, there's almost nothing else for him to say or do at this point. He'll have to wait it out just like the rest of us.
March 23, 2025 at 7:14 PM
He's saying it was a mistake. I'd take him on his word.
March 3, 2025 at 4:03 PM
I'm quite sure that the things that make it the greatest country in the world are exactly what those "crybabies" are advocating to protect and whoever you think is making it great is threatening.
January 27, 2025 at 7:48 AM
While I share your frustration, this weekend was exceptionally rough mostly owing to the stormy trains and their aftereffects. But yes, there's a lot of room for improvement, especially in the reliability department.

What a sad existence it must be for someone to find a reason to insult anyone expressing happiness.

Can't wait for the sequel, "Hummingbird and the hawk tuah"!
