Example: Dominion Voting sued for defamation and won, which reversed course on news organizations spreading blatant misinformation about the election. The science community can do the same to stop the erosion of our healthcare/society.

The science community needs to take bold actions to help prevent the erosion of lifesaving facts. If a defamation lawsuit has merit it could help reverse the rapid misinformation being thrown out by bad actors. We saw how misinformation led to someone attacking the CDC a couple of months ago.
