Uh, that's new indeed. I am wondering what the internet will look like in two or three years. Maybe AI agents talking to each other and any relevant information or interesting voice drowned in a see of irrelevant noise? I am not hopeful.

Umm, software vendors don't need AI to do that. I think the experience you had is the normal support experience. Quite often people at 1st level support know less than you do.
Maybe that's just my experience, but I've seen what you described 20 years ago. :-o

Firefox and AdBlock are your friends and remove most of the Ads. Without it I wouldn't be able to stand the internet anymore.

What is the stopcode of the bluescreen? You can get it from the event viewer in the "Windows" "System" protocol. Filter for "critical" "Kernel-Power" events and look at the "Detail" page. This can sometimes help to narrow down the problem.

Power supply can also cause such problems. Anything from faulty wires to a graphic card needing more power than the PSU can provide. The blue screen usually gives you a hint what the problem is. It might list the driver causing the problems. You'll find these infos in the event viewer as well.

No, I really don't think it's too kind. It is just an accurate observation. You're being too modest. :)

I think it's well deserved for your having talent and being persistent and writing great music and sharing your insights. Oh, and being a decent, humble human being.

May it grow your network.

Umm, I don't know about "great writing". But I definitely agree with the "heard too frequently" part. My guess is that for huge open world adventures, uncreative AI chatter for NPCs is still preferable to any kind of writing heard too frequently. We'll find out, I am sure of that :)
March 11, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Well, yes, I agree when it comes to the main NPC characters. But when I hear "I used to be an adventurer, but I took an arrow to the knee" for the 1000th time, I wouldn't mind having a little bit of variation from an AI.
Use both - good human writing for the plot, AI stuff as a filler.

Thanks for the update. You look good. Running helps a lot, doesn't it. I'm eager to start again, after a short break because of the frosty temperatures :-)

Also, point still stands because a video is not the same as being in that room with the performance. Not by a long shot.

Scroll down a bit and there is the video.

I am happy for you, too. Well deserved (just listened to your composition reel 23) :)
