Democracy is at stake in this election. Democrats in the presidency and congress are essential. I like to think of myself as independent, open to candidates regardless of party. The Democratic party is imperfect, but not hijacked by a despot. I will be voting straight DEMOCRAT to preserve democracy.

Biden gave a heart-felt oval-office address. He focused on following ones better angels. I was initially disappointed. I thought he missed an opportunity to make all kinds of snarky witticism about Trump's narcissism. He did better. He emphasized listening to ourselves and doing what is right.

I’m happy to spread the #KHive message of a positive vision of unity. It is challenging to avoid demonizing the other side, when the 'other side' seems so dark. Harris and Biden present a compelling vision. Biden is kind and Harris is awesome.

True, the rocket exploded. But we now have terabytes of data about what happens when you accidentally dump thousands of gallons of burning fuel on microhabitats in the Florida wetlands where the only known members of a bunch of different bird and lizard species have lived for millions of years
