Whilst I agree with your sentiments, the fact that gun laws are crazy and no-one does anything about them, means there is a tacit approval by Americans that tolerates gun violence!

American democracy? Does that include gerrymandering, voter suppression, fewer voting booths so people have to line up? And now Trump wants to ban mail in voting! Glad told him it didn’t work- Russia another great democracy.
