I’m an English major who has worked with dogs for over thirty years.
In high school I knew how to do the last two and would have been delighted to learn the first three but Easter was not my problem.

My mother, born 1916 in south Alabama, explained that to me.

Neat! I have never turned anything (unless sides-to-middling towels counts) but I have this acrylic sweater. It’s hella warm and the pattern would look the same on the reverse. Hmm.

Heh. I am a recluse and I like it. I do email people a lot.

Here in Kentucky it is 70 after sunset now and by morning it is supposed to be 18. Do Not Like.

I’m perfectly capable of enjoying soup in any temperature. I drink coffee and eat ice cream year round, don’t I?

Exactly.

I’m only three stories into Skin-Singer so I’m not there yet. (I’m one of those people who read three or four books at once.)

18–I had an AOL address in 1993, my first internet connection of my own, but I soon got on nando.net. I never used a water bed and although we still have a fax machine at work (some pharmacies want prescriptions that way) I personally have never used it.

I was grateful to have a Franklin stove in the house I was renting in Raleigh NC after hurricane Fran. I have a much better stove now, a Jötul. Getting to run the mimeograph at school was a reward. We didn’t have ink wells or holes for them at school but we filled our pens with one at home.

I have used my mother’s 1927 box Brownie often. I can’t say I ever used Morse code but I learned it in Girl Scouts. My six inch pocket slide rule is on my desk right next to my palm sized abacus next to my 1978 solar powered calculator. Use them all.
