I felt the same way, so I started learning Go about a month ago. It's pretty fun so far. I've been using the Exercism language track and it's been very fun. I'd definitely recommend checking it out

Just finished Old Twentieth a few days ago. It was a good read. The mixture of the expected futuristic sci-fi with interesting period segments was engaging and made me appreciate Haldeman's writing more than I already do. Currently re-reading Forever Peace.

Just finished Forever Free. Not as great as The Forever War, but it was a quick and enjoyable read. Forever Peace is still my favorite though 😅
